Our Doctors

Houstoun Clinch, DVM, Owner

If I am not at the hospital, then I am with Andrea, her son Dayton and my daughter Abby. We have a cat named Kit and a dog named Vinnie. We enjoy sailing on our boat out on Lake Superior. If we are not at home then we are out exploring the great outdoors, biking, boating, skiing or just enjoying life.

I am a Twin Cities native from Andover, MN, and I now live in Roseville with my husband Eric and our pets – a Bichon, Axel, and a tuxedo cat, Lucy. I attained my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2020.  Outside of work, I can be found bird watching, hiking, skiing, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. I also play in a handbell choir with my husband, and we enjoy going to local music and theater shows.

Our Staff

Morgan, Certified Veterinary Technician

I'm from Oakdale, MN. I graduated and was certified in 2020. I have 3 dogs (Guinness, Fireball and Kona) and 5 ferrets (Kazi, Luna, Orion, Papi and Storm). I enjoy going to the dog park with my dogs, fishing, reading and playing video games.

Mia, Veterinary Assistant

I have always had a love for ALL animals since I was little; that's when I knew I wanted to make a career out of it. I have two cat's (Bebe and Tibbs) and a bearded dragon (Reptar).  I enjoy being in nature and adventuring outdoors. My interests include art, music, animals and being with my family. I brought my animals here before I started working here, so I was familiar and comfortable with the hospital. When I found out they were hiring, I knew this would be a great fit for me!

TLC Veterinary Hospital was already my extended family, as I'm involved in a local dog rescue, and it just became fitting to actually join the team in May 2018. Helping animals and their families in any way is my passion. Outside of work, I foster dogs with the help of my husband and my son. We also have 3 rescue bulldogs and 1 uromastyx lizard. I love to travel, watch scary shows and talk about dogs all day long!

Maryanne, Certified Veterinary Technician

I am a lifetime resident of this area and currently live in Oakdale. My career as a technician spans five decades, but I have never grown tired of my job. I enjoy the people and pets I work with, the fact that no two days are alike, and the challenge of always learning something new. The majority of my time away from TLC is spent with my friends, volunteering at church,  and singing in the choir. I also enjoy Minnesota Twins baseball and working jigsaw puzzles.

Laurel, Veterinary Assistant

I am a Veterinary Technician student currently studying at Penn Foster. I am extremely excited, and feel very lucky to be working towards a future helping animals and people- along with getting to meet each and every one of them! When I'm not studying or working, I enjoy making music and performing with the band I sing in, hiking along the Mississippi River with the pups, cooking, and spending time with my family. I have two dogs (and homework helpers), Monty and Cheddar.

Shauna, Lead Customer Service Representative

I have been a veterinary technician for over 15 years and I love working with animals and their humans. I am excited to be part of the TLC Veterinary Hospital team. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two young boys and our bichon Ruby. We enjoy watching the boys ice skate, play hockey, t-ball and soccer. In the summer we enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially swimming and boating at the cabin. Hopefully there will be more animals in our family soon.

Maddie, Customer Service Representative

My desire to pair my years of customer service experience and a lifelong love of animals is what led me to want to join the TLC family! I am originally from the Twin Cities area but now reside on a hobby farm in western Wisconsin with my boyfriend and our three dogs Hal, Kodiak and Indigo. I enjoy hiking and swimming with our dogs, teaching them new tricks, gardening, painting and being active. We are hoping to welcome some barnyard animals into our pastures very soon!
